Description: Ninety six flowers and 279 buds alternately arranged on 27 pendulous lateral 7.5-cm inflorescences; canes terete, upright 48.5 cm long; leaves lanceolate, alternate, margins are entire; ovaries terete, verrucose; sepals narrowly obovate, verrucose on abaxial surface, yellow-orange; petals filamentous, curved, cream; lip trilobed, orange centrally, white on margin, adnate to column, three calli, central callus extending to margin of lip; column bilobular, obovate, white, green basally, anther cap tan; substance firm; texture matte; light floral fragrance, recognized for educational value and rarity in cultivation. |
